Epona's Gait, LLC d/b/a BarnTribe ("BarnTribe," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance with this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect Personal Information about you when providing services to you through our website, applications, products, and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Services, including, but not limited to, barn owners/employers, job applicants, independent contractors, workers, sitters, vendors, and facility operators (collectively, the "Users").
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described below.
1. About this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes our practices with respect to Personal Information (defined below) that we may collect about our Users, or that you may provide to us in connection with your access and use of the Services.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Information" means any information that, by itself or in combination with other information, identifies or can reasonably be used to identify an individual, including:
- name;
- email address;
- phone number;
- mailing or facility address;
- payment and billing information;
- account credentials;
- profile, job, vendor, employment, or scheduling information;
- messages, communications, reviews, and application content;
- images, videos, audio, or media voluntarily shared; and
- device or browser identifiers.
Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Use.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third party websites, linked sites, or third-party services, including Payment Processors, which maintain their own privacy policies.
2. Information We Collect
We collect Personal Information in the following ways:
Information You Provide.
Users may provide Personal Information directly when they:
- create or update an account;
- subscribe to paid Services;
- post job listings or Vendor offerings;
- submit job applications or service requests;
- schedule communications, bookings, or Engagements;
- provide User Content (messages, reviews, listings, certifications, etc.); and
- submit payment or payout information to facilitate transactions.
Barn Owners/Employers may provide facility location, work requests, animal-related needs, scheduling requirements, and payment information.
Job Applicants may provide employment history, certifications, availability, schedules, and service rates.
Vendors may provide service descriptions, pricing, regulatory or licensing documentation, and insurance-related information (if voluntarily submitted).
Information Collected Automatically.
When Users access the Services, we may automatically collect:
- device identifiers;
- IP address of your computer or mobile device;
- your computer or mobile device browser information;
- usage data, access times, pages/screens viewed;
- referral URLs; and
- cookies and similar tracking technologies.
This usage data is used to operate, secure, and improve the Services and may be de-identified or aggregated.
Information from Third Parties.
We may receive Personal Information relating to Users from:
- Payment Processors (regarding transaction status);
- analytics providers;
- identity or fraud prevention partners; and
- other Users with whom you interact.
Payment information is processed directly by Stripe or other Payment Processor and not stored by the Company. We do not receive or store full payment card numbers; these are processed directly by the Payment Processor in accordance with its own privacy policy and applicable security standards.
In addition, we automatically collect certain aggregate information and analytical data related to your usage of the Services.
Aggregate information is non-personally identifiable or anonymous information about you, and may include the date and time of your visit, the IP address of your computer or mobile device, your computer or mobile device browser information, the Internet address that you visited prior to and after reaching the Services, the name of the domain and host you used to access the Internet, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device's unique device ID and the features of our Services which you accessed.
In addition, we may automatically collect certain statistics, aggregate information, and analytical data related to your access and use of the Services ("Aggregate Information"). Aggregated Information is non-personally identifiable or anonymous information about you, and may include:
- the date and time of your visit;
- the IP address of your computer or mobile device;
- your computer or mobile device browser information;
- the Internet address that you visited prior to and after reaching the Services;
- the name of the domain and host you used to access the Internet;

This data is not associated with your Personal Information.

This data is not associated with your personally identifiable information.
We may create and use aggregated or de-identified information derived from Personal Information. Aggregated or de-identified data does not directly identify an individual and may be used for any lawful purpose.
3. Cookies, Analytics, and Other Automatic Data Collection Technologies
As you navigate through our Services, we may collect certain information about you and pattern-related information via automated technologies ("Tracking Technologies"). The technologies we use for this automatic data collection may include:

However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our Services. 4. How We Use Information

- facilitate interactions among Users for employment, Vendor services, and scheduling;
- verify User identity or account ownership;
- manage Subscription billing and Service Fee deductions;
- enable and record communications among Users;
- process payments and payouts through the Payment Processor;
- resolve disputes and support Users;
- enforce our Terms of Use and prevent Booking Circumvention;
- detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, safety risks, scams, or misuse;
- comply with legal, regulatory, and tax obligations;
- provide notices, transactional messages, and service-related communications; and
- create de-identified or aggregated analytics to improve the Services efficiency.
We may use Personal Information to contact you regarding goods or services that may be relevant to you, subject to applicable law and opt-out preferences.
5. Disclosure of Information
We do not sell or rent Personal Information to third parties that are not affiliates of the Company. We may disclose Personal Information as follows:
- To other Users when facilitating Engagements, job applications, Vendor services, or communications among Users;
- To Payment Processors to facilitate transactions and payouts.
- To contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support the Services (hosting, analytics, customer support, email, fraud prevention, etc.) who are subject to confidentiality obligations.
- To our parent, subsidiaries, and affiliated entities to help coordinate Services we provide to you and to enforce our Terms of Use.
- To successor entities in a merger, acquisition, asset sale, restructuring, financing, or bankruptcy, in which Personal Information held by us about Users is among the assets transferred.
- To comply with any court order, law, ordinance, valid warrant, valid subpoena, or legal process, including to respond to any government or regulatory request.
- To enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered between you and us, including for billing and collection.
- If we believe disclosure is necessary or appropriate to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our Users, or others.

6. Retention of Personal Information
We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- operate and improve the Services;
- comply with tax, regulatory, or legal retention requirements;
- enforce agreements;
- prevent fraud or abuse; and
- maintain transactional records.
At the end of applicable retention periods, Personal Information may be deleted, de-identified, or destroyed.

- Account Cancellation. You may request Account cancellation in accordance with Section 6 of our Terms of Use. Upon cancellation, we will delete or retain information consistent with the Terms of Use and applicable law.

The Services are operated from the United States. Personal Information may be transferred and processed in the United States. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. When we update this Privacy Policy, we will update the date listed at the top of this Privacy Policy. We will provide other notice to you as required by law. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Florida, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Your California Privacy Rights
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended ("CCPA"), California residents have certain rights relating to the collection, use, and sharing of their Personal Information. If you are a resident of California, you may have the right to:
- request to know what categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected about you;
- request deletion of your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising your CCPA rights.
We do not disclose your Personal Information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes unless you request such disclosure.
